  • Prepare and interpret performance reports, financial summaries, income projections, and planning documents.
  • Act in members' best interests while balancing Meridian's objectives.

Growth and collaboration

  • Grow sales by deepening existing relationships and increasing share of wallet; generate new business through referrals, campaigns, and other lead sources.
  • Work with retail, small business, mortgage, commercial, and wealth colleagues to identify and convert referrals.
  • Support member campaigns and contribute to team scorecard outcomes.
  • Provide product guidance to internal partners, mentor less experienced advisors, assist with complex planning, support pilots, and represent Meridian in the community.

Professional standards

  • Maintain required licensing and continuing education; stay current on wealth management trends, products, strategies, and planning concepts.
  • Demonstrate practice, time-management, and organizational skills.

  • Prior mutual fund, investment, or insurance licensing is noted among relevant knowledge.

Knowledge and capabilities

  • Knowledge of wealth management, investment products, risk management, tax effectiveness, retirement, cash flow, income planning, retail banking, and wealth products.
  • Strong communication, discovery, relationship-building, business development, presentation, and partnership skills.
  • Proficiency with financial planning, CRM, investment, and advisor support software.
  • The posting seeks comfort learning digital tools and AI; Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot experience is an asset.
