Financial Director

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring integrity and accuracy of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Own the monthly forecasting cycle, annual operating plan, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to translate business objectives into actionable financial plans.
• Drive cost optimisation, productivity initiatives, and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage financial risks including credit, FX exposure, compliance, and operational controls.
• Ensure compliance with UAE statutory and regulatory requirements, IFRS/US GAAP standards, and internal policies.
• Strengthen the internal control environment and governance framework.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team and foster a culture of accountability, ethics, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• MBA and/or professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA).
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in a country/entity finance role.
• Industrial manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC6 and consolidation/reporting tools such as HFM.
• Exposure to analytics and automation tools including Power BI and Power Automate.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
