- Develop and manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and trends to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- ***Financial Reporting:***
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies in financial reporting.
- Present financial reports to management, stakeholders, and external auditors.
- ***Budgeting and Cost Management:***
- Develop annual budgets and monitor financial performance against budgeted figures.
- Implement cost control measures and operational efficiencies to achieve financial goals.
- Analyze variances and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- ***Internal Controls and Compliance:***
- Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.

- Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital and ensuring timely payments to vendors and creditors.
- Oversee banking relationships and treasury functions to maximize returns on idle funds.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing financial systems.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Develop and mentor finance staff to enhance their skills and performance.

- Contribute to strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
