Responsibilities

  • Pursue ongoing skill development to enhance the efficiency and quality achieved in department objectives
  • Compile abstract property financial statements and due diligence information.
  • Interpret data from a variety of sources to assess market's economic environment and to evaluate commercial real estate opportunities and trends
  • Coordinate, compile and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics reports for senior management
  • Prepare accurate, timely and meaningful financial reporting and variance analysis related to actuals, forecasts, budgets and prior year results
  • Evaluating and underwriting buildings using various financial documents like rent rolls, expenses, and P&L statements as well as market comparables and rental trends
  • Underwrite income property utilizing customary methods and tools to accurately determine NOI, valuation and debt
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling, including the creation of financial models, pro-forma analysis including cash flow and debt/equity, net present value and discounted cash flow analysis, and IRR (internal rate of return) analysis.
  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions using Microsoft BI based reporting solutions, Excel etc.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting through data mining and compilation in various applications and systems including; MS Excel, SAP, and proprietary systems
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting or related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques
  • Familiarity with Reonomy, Argus, Property Shark, and/or CoStar a plus, but not required
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, have strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
