Financial Adviser

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Financial Advice team at Mercer. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Financial Adviser - Brisbane

Mercer Financial Advice helps clients make informed decisions about their financial future through personalised advice and tailored planning. In this role, you will work with high-net-worth clients to develop practical financial strategies, support ongoing relationship management, and contribute to the delivery of compliant, client-focused advice.

We will count on you to:

Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans aligned to clients’ goals, risk tolerance and financial circumstances

Advise clients on investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance and other financial products

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication and review meetings

Analyse clients’ financial situations by collecting and interpreting relevant financial information

Stay current with market trends, financial products and regulatory changes to provide informed and compliant advice

Collaborate with accountants, lawyers and tax specialists to deliver holistic financial solutions

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Mercer Financial Advice policies

Contribute to business development by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities

What you need to have:

Demonstrated experience in financial advisory or wealth management

Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, tax laws and retirement planning

Proven ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and effectively

Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality advice to high-net-worth clients

Capability to work with financial planning software, such as Xplan, and CRM systems
