Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Process journal entries and adjust entries as required
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare tax returns and support statutory filings
• Monitor expenses and support budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Knowledge of GST/VAT, income tax, and regulatory compliance
