Financial Accountant
About This Role
Job description:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Process journal entries and adjust entries as required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Prepare tax returns and support statutory filings
- Monitor expenses and support budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and reporting skills
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA – full or pursuing)
- Experience in the relevant industry
- Knowledge of GST/VAT, income tax, and regulatory compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
