Job purpose
Support the day-to-day activities of the finance department and contribute to smooth, efficient operations.
Finance operations
- Process invoices, payments, bills, and expense reports accurately, on time, and in line with company policies.
- Maintain financial records and databases through data entry, verification, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with finance colleagues and other departments on finance projects, initiatives, and inquiries.
- Monitor overdue payments, send reminders, contact customers when needed, and escalate collection activities as required.
Reporting and risk management
- Support preparation of financial reports.
- Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements and maintain records for audit purposes.
- Assist internal and external audits by preparing documents, providing requested data, and implementing auditor recommendations.
Education and certification
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Certified Accountant qualification is preferred.
Knowledge and capabilities
- Applicants need analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills, and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
