Position overview
The role handles day-to-day financial activities, including budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant processes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with annual budgets and forecasts; monitor expenses against budgets and report variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Ensure payroll compliance with UAE labor laws and timely salary disbursements.
- Ensure local financial and tax compliance and support internal and external audits with documentation.
- Analyze costs and event-related expenses, identify savings, handle vendor/client transactions, and reconcile accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of financial management experience; events or service industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and organization.
