Job Summary

The Finance Manager (Holding Companies & Consolidation) will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting management and consolidation processes across multiple entities within holding company structures.

This role ensures the accurate consolidation of financial statements, adherence to international accounting standards, and provides strategic insights to senior management.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting skills, experience in managing multi-entity and multi-geography consolidations, and a deep understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Overseeing Holding Company Accounting

o Managing and guiding the accounting team responsible for handling accounting of all holding companies.

o Enhancing financial efficiency, reduce risk, and implementing a more effective capital allocation policy.

Corporate Restructuring

o Conceptualizing and implementing the most suitable holding company structure.

Financial Consolidation

o Oversee the consolidation of financial results for multiple subsidiaries and holding companies in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

o Prepare consolidated financial statements, including inter-company eliminations and adjustments.

o Ensure timely and accurate reporting of consolidated financial data to senior management and external stakeholders.

Financial Reporting

o Prepare quarterly, and annual financial reports for the group, ensuring consistency across all entities.

o Manage the coordination of external audits in Singapore, BVI, UAE and other jurisdictions.

o Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements and provide guidance on complex financial reporting issues.

Intercompany Transactions

o Oversee the accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions, loans, and transfers.

o Ensure proper documentation and compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

Internal Controls Compliance

o Develop and enforce financial accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are maintained across all entities.

o Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions of operation.

Tax Management

o Support the tax team in ensuring accurate tax reporting and optimization strategies for the group.

Process Improvement

o Identify opportunities to improve consolidation processes, including automation and standardization of reporting across subsidiaries.

o Lead or support financial accounting system implementations and enhancements that impact the consolidation process.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.

 Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, ideally in a multi-entity, international holding company structure.

 Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial consolidation.

 Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

 Strong organizational and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and provide actionable insights.

 Experience in managing audits and working with external auditors.

 Strong proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel.
