Overview

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare financial dashboards, variance analysis, and management reports.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts.
  • Monitor budget utilization and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide financial projections for business planning and decision-making.
  • Oversee costing for all projects including materials, labour, subcontractors, logistics, and overhead allocation.
  • Evaluate project margins, profitability, and cash flow impact.
  • Implement project cost controls and monitor spend against BOQ/budget.
  • Provide financial support to Sales Team for pricing, tenders, and commercial evaluations.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow planning.
  • Ensure adequate liquidity for project execution, payroll, rent, and supplier payments.
  • Approve fund transfers, payments, and bank transactions.
  • Monitor collections and implement effective credit control measures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, LPO matching, and payment scheduling.
  • Manage customer invoicing, milestone billing, and follow-ups for overdue payments.
  • Review AP/AR aging reports and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong vendor and client financial relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE/KSA VAT laws and other statutory regulations.
  • Manage VAT filing, reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of audit requirements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
  • Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR.
  • Check salary sheets, allowances, deductions, leave provisions, and EOSB calculations.
  • Ensure accurate posting of payroll entries and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Improve accounting workflows, approval cycles, and financial controls.
  • Enhance ERP/accounting software utilization for reporting and automation.
  • Develop or update financial policies (spending policies, cost allocation, procurement controls).
