Finance Manager

Role Purpose

Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports (MIS), and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Partner with business leaders on financial planning and performance tracking.
• Analyze costs, margins, and profitability by product, channel, and customer.
• Support pricing, promotions, and business cases in line with FMCG dynamics.

Cost Control & Working Capital

• Monitor and control operating expenses and COGS.
• Manage working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables.
• Drive efficiencies across procurement, logistics, and supply chain finance.

Commercial & Business Partnering

• Act as a finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
• Provide financial insights to support trade spend, promotions, and new initiatives.
• Support decision‑making with data‑driven analysis and recommendations.

Controls, Compliance & Systems

• Ensure strong internal controls, policies, and governance.
• Oversee tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance.
• Support ERP / finance system improvements (e.g. JDE, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring capability and performance.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA).

Experience

• Minimum
• 6–8 years
• of progressive finance experience.
• **Strong FMCG experience is mandatory**
• (manufacturing, distribution, or trading).
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Exposure to inventory management, cost accounting, and trade spend.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in Turkish language is required (spoken and written).
• Strong proficiency in English language is mandatory.
