About This Role
Role Purpose
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and effective business partnering.
The role supports commercial decision‑making and operational performance in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports (MIS), and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Partner with business leaders on financial planning and performance tracking.
- Analyze costs, margins, and profitability by product, channel, and customer.
- Support pricing, promotions, and business cases in line with FMCG dynamics.
Cost Control & Working Capital
- Monitor and control operating expenses and COGS.
- Manage working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables.
- Drive efficiencies across procurement, logistics, and supply chain finance.
Commercial & Business Partnering
- Act as a finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Provide financial insights to support trade spend, promotions, and new initiatives.
- Support decision‑making with data‑driven analysis and recommendations.
Controls, Compliance & Systems
- Ensure strong internal controls, policies, and governance.
- Oversee tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance.
- Support ERP / finance system improvements (e.g. JDE, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring capability and performance.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA).
Experience
- Minimum
- 6–8 years
- of progressive finance experience.
- **Strong FMCG experience is mandatory**
- (manufacturing, distribution, or trading).
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Exposure to inventory management, cost accounting, and trade spend.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in Turkish language is required (spoken and written).
- Strong proficiency in English language is mandatory.

- Excellent business partnering and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrix organization.
