About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Manage
- project accounting
- , including cost tracking, revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP), and project profitability analysis.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with project timelines and company objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
- Implement and maintain strong
- cost control measures
- across projects to improve margins.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and performance insights.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders for audits, financing, and reporting requirements.
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement in processes.
- Implement financial systems, ERP solutions, and automation tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- **15+ years of experience**
- in finance, Qatar or GCC.
- Minimum
- 5–7 years in a managerial role
- overseeing finance teams.
- Professional certification such as
CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA
is highly preferred.
