Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute assigned accounting tasks and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting SOPs and conduct regular audits across all property areas.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports and analyses.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts, including credit card ledgers and revenue reports.
  • Review contracts, perform credit checks, and manage billing processes for groups.
  • Support month-end and period-end closing activities.
  • Ensure accurate recording of profits, losses, and applicable taxes.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Analyze financial data to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments on budgeting and financial procedures.
  • Handle collections, follow-ups, and related financial communications when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the **hospitality/hotel** industry, with experience in Marriott International or similar international hotel brands preferred.
  • **Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems (e.g., Opera, Sun, or similar PMS/ERP systems).**
  • Solid understanding of revenue reporting, auditing, internal controls, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in credit control, billing, accounts reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and integrity.
