About This Role
Overview
- Oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across mall and retail operations
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits within the property
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and tenants
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and safety preparedness activities
- Monitor contractor and tenant compliance with HSE requirements
- Prepare HSE reports, documentation, and records for management review and regulatory purposes
- Work closely with operations and facility teams to maintain a safe environment for employees, tenants, and visitors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably within mall, retail, or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international safety standards
- Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are preferred
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Candidates must be locally available or possess GCC experience
- Bilingual candidates will be an advantage
- Pay: Up to QAR10,000.00 per month
