Finance Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage UAE banking relationships and negotiate overdrafts, working capital facilities, term loans, letters of credit, and bank guarantees.
• Manage financing terms, renewals, credit reviews, facility documentation, utilization, and covenant compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts; maintain liquidity and manage cheques, collections, payment schedules, and supplier payment priorities.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections; analyze variances and provide management reports and recommendations.
• Identify cost and profitability improvements; monitor production costs, raw materials, labor, overheads, inventory, product margins, efficiency, and wastage.
• Work with procurement, production, sales, and operations teams on cost efficiency and working capital.
• Oversee accounting operations, monthly closing, statements, management reporting, receivables, payables, collections, and supplier credit terms.
• Ensure UAE VAT, corporate tax, and financial reporting compliance; coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
• Lead the finance and accounts team, advise senior management, mitigate financial risks, and improve processes, reporting systems, and controls.

Requirements and qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience is essential; experience in aluminium, glass, metal fabrication, or building materials is strongly preferred.
• A mandatory CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent recognized professional qualification in finance or accounting.
• Proven corporate banking facilities experience and strong cash flow, treasury, cheque management, and working capital skills.
• Expertise in budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and cost control; knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory, and profitability analysis.
• Understanding of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and applicable financial regulations.
• Direct UAE bank experience is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
