The company seeks a hands-on Finance Manager to own finance operations, improve processes, and help build a scalable finance function.
The role may grow into CFO-level leadership as the business expands; this is a future opportunity, not the current title.
Finance responsibilities
- Manage supplier payments, accounts payable, and transactions across multiple currencies.
- Reconcile sales, payment gateways, bank accounts, and marketplace settlements.
- Monitor cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
- Prepare management reporting on revenue, profitability, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Oversee bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial controls.
- Analyse profitability by product, supplier, marketplace, and payment method.
- Improve, automate, and scale finance processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Relevant background in finance operations, accounting, FP&A, treasury, or financial control.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and financial reconciliations.
- Hands-on expertise in foreign currency valuation, FX fluctuation accounting, and realised and unrealised FX gains and losses.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, settlements, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets; financial reporting, modelling, and dashboard creation.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, organizational skills, commercial mindset, and attention to detail; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable experience
- Experience in e-commerce or digital commerce, digital products, gift cards or gaming, payment gateways or online marketplaces, or multi-currency or high-volume transaction businesses is highly desirable.
Schedule
- Working schedule is Monday through Friday.
- The posting indicates immediate hiring.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 8,000–11,000 per month, based on experience.
