Role Overview
Lead financial operations for a retail and pharmaceutical business in Dubai.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, regulatory compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial models.
- Oversee accounting operations, the general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
- Manage working capital, inventory valuation, receivables, payables, treasury, and banking relationships.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide financial insights to senior management to support profitability.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
- Retail, pharmacy, or FMCG experience is preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA, or a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong hands-on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance experience.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is listed at AED 8,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
- The role is based in Dubai and requires reliable commuting or relocation before starting.
