Experienced Accountant to manage accounting and financial operations for healthcare, diagnostic, and wellness facilities in the UAE.
The role covers financial compliance, ledger management, and coordination with clinic and laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations across healthcare entities.
- Reconcile clinical billing, patient payments, and TPA insurance claims and settlements.
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile vendors for medical inventory, laboratory reagents, and wellness consumables.
- Prepare monthly P&L statements and balance sheets and facilitate payroll for clinical and administrative staff.
- Ensure UAE VAT and FTA filing compliance, including correct tax treatment of clinical and non-clinical services.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain facility cash-handling controls and daily revenue deposits.
Requirements and qualifications
- At least five years of accounting experience in the UAE is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, HIS financial modules, and advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and reporting data manipulation, is required.
- Healthcare clinic, diagnostic laboratory, or wellness or alternative medicine accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications are advantageous.
Pay
- Advertised pay is AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
