Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant finance, accounting, financial reporting, or similar experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP or accounting system experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic or Chinese is advantageous.
- Good communication and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with a well-known multinational, established regional business, or reputable industry leader is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT and local financial compliance requirements is an advantage.
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, or another relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
Potential responsibilities
- Manage accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare or review financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts, depending on the role.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and performance; maintain accurate records under relevant standards and policies.
- Support VAT compliance, internal controls, audit preparation, and financial risk management as applicable.
- Provide financial analysis and operational support to cross-functional teams and improve processes, reporting efficiency, and cost control.
