The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.
This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in financial systems (especially SAP or similar ERP), and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements and travel expenses.
- Manage utility and operational expense payments on time.
- Perform data entry and transaction processing in SAP.
- Prepare and reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.
- Preparing ageing analysis for debtors and creditors.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT and Corporate Tax returns.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure asset tagging and depreciation schedules are accurate.
- Support internal/annual audit processes by providing relevant data and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Support monthly closing and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g. MBA, CA Inter) are a plus.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Pay: From AED4.00 per month
