Finance Assistant Manager responsible for financial duties supporting the smooth operation of venues.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily and weekly revenue assurance, POS reconciliation, settlement matching, void and discount monitoring, and sales-to-bank controls.
- Oversee inventory, stock movements and counts, COGS, wastage controls, and variance investigations.
- Maintain venue cost structures, support menu and recipe costing, and track contribution margins.
- Manage transfer pricing, intercompany recharges, documentation, compliance, and reconciliations for group consolidation.
- Support monthly and year-end close, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
- Drive cost optimization and prepare venue performance packs covering sales mix, margins, labor, overheads, and actionable insights.
- Strengthen working capital with vendor reconciliations, payment scheduling, and purchasing controls.
- Maintain internal policy and audit compliance, documentation standards, and audit coordination.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 7–10 years of finance or accounting experience with strong hospitality or venue exposure.
- Hands-on POS controls, daily sales reconciliation, and revenue assurance experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory, COGS, menu and recipe costing, and hospitality margin drivers.
- ERP and hospitality/POS systems experience; advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and audit processes.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or SOCPA certification is preferred.
