Position Purpose

The position leads a team of service technicians, typically for Facilities Management Contracts or large service sites.

The supervisor ensures Honeywell meets contractual requirements and exceeds customer expectations while also being an individual contributor (100% job chargeable).

Duties include developing skills, information, and management discipline to deliver services in a timely manner at planned gross margins, leveraging HBS tools, processes, and best practices.

The role performs work on contracts and service projects to meet the team's financial and productivity metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and resolve customer satisfaction issues.
  • Review VOC feedback and take appropriate proactive actions.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and comfort by identifying system upgrade opportunities, spot service needs, maintenance contract additions, and other sales leads.
  • Own the team's service financial performance, monitor monthly financials, and improve service operational metrics.
  • Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials while maintaining and controlling inventory levels.
  • Support implementation and compliance of productivity-enhancing service delivery processes.
  • Lead and manage the service team in adopting HBS Global and EMEAI policies, processes, procedures, service tools, and business best practices.
  • Set and implement standards such as quality processes, service manuals, and hour reporting.
  • Maximize contract escalation and renewal opportunities against plan and control cancellations at plan level.
  • Participate in estimate reviews to ensure labor estimates are correct and technically achievable, and ensure subcontracts are complete and documented.
  • Ensure service contracts, additional works, and small service projects are properly resourced.
  • Manage selection and oversight of subcontractors in conjunction with the supply team.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of related support services experience in Honeywell or a related industry.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory knowledge with demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Financial skills to understand contract-level financial data and act on variances to achieve key metrics.
  • Operational analysis ability to gather information from multiple sources, recognize trends, and identify cause-effect relationships.
  • Customer relationship management ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on trust and mutual understanding.
  • Drive for results, remaining effective despite setbacks and challenging current thinking.
