Role overview

Order and document control

• Enter and maintain incoming sales orders using information from engineering leaders and internal suppliers; keep order, invoicing, shipping, pricing, commission, quantity, model, and accessory data accurate.
• Develop and maintain a Document Control Index from customer purchase orders, specifications, and project-team input.
• Adapt standard documents to customer specifications with project managers; track due dates and prioritize documentation against project schedules.
• Revise documents based on customer comments under engineering-leader direction and support CRS preparation as required.

Final data and inspections

• Compile and revise final technical data, including as-built parts lists, instruction manuals, test results, certifications, recommended spare-parts lists, and sub-vendor accessory data.
• Compile test and inspection data for contract-required customer site visits and secure certificates for final data submissions.
• Load the complete final data package into the company data system for future retrieval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Computer skills in Excel, Word, and Adobe.
• Comfort with technical communication; able to work independently and in a team, initiate tasks, meet short deadlines, and complete work accurately.
• SharePoint, AutoCAD, Solid Edge 2D, Siemens Teamcenter, and ERP software such as JD Edwards or SAP are preferred.
