Responsibilities

• Follow Nikkiso Cryotec safe-work procedures and promote a safe work environment.
• Apply industrial safety processes and standards in air-separation, hydrocarbon, and petrochemical environments.
• Advise customers and contractors on equipment construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Read prints, flow sheets, and product designs; liaise with field, engineering, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot problems, analyze causes, and make timely decisions with customer and company teams.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing, maintaining open communication.
• Travel independently to domestic and international customer sites.
• Prepare trip reports after each trip and complete accurate monthly expense reports.

Qualifications and experience

• Technical or associate degree.
• Ten or more years of experience in relevant areas is highly desirable, including process operations, instrumentation and control, industrial maintenance, compressors, turboexpanders, industrial electrical work, or HVAC.
• Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical and engineering drawings, design specifications, manufacturer drawings, and installation-related documents.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to work independently and under pressure, meet deadlines, manage time and goals, and handle multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
