Teach high school Physical Education and deliver engaging lessons aligned with American curriculum standards and learning objectives.
Teaching and student development
- Teach sports, fitness activities, and physical conditioning exercises.
- Develop students’ fitness, coordination, strength, endurance, and fundamental sports skills.
- Assess performance, participation, and progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt activities to students’ abilities, fitness levels, and learning needs.
- Teach health, fitness, exercise principles, and the importance of an active lifestyle.
Safety and school activities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Supervise sports activities and ensure safe use of facilities and equipment.
- Organize and support school sports events, competitions, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain attendance, assessment, and student progress records.
- Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and parents; participate in meetings and professional development.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a closely related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification or valid teaching license in Physical Education.
- At least 2 years of full-time PE teaching experience at secondary or high school level.
- Experience teaching the American Curriculum or familiarity with US PE standards is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sports, fitness training, physical conditioning, and student assessment.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills; ability to motivate students and promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
