Work with IT, management, and relevant departments to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data and systems.
Responsibilities
- Assess cybersecurity, risks, and vulnerabilities across IT systems and infrastructure; recommend mitigations.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Review and strengthen network, system, application, endpoint, access, authentication, and privileged-account controls.
- Support incident investigation, containment, recovery, and post-incident reviews; monitor risks and advise on reducing incident impact.
- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments against relevant standards and regulations.
- Assess cloud services, applications, databases, third-party systems, vendors, and service providers.
- Advise on secure configuration, data protection, encryption, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Conduct or coordinate vulnerability scanning and penetration testing where required.
- Support employee cybersecurity awareness and training; provide technical guidance to IT teams.
- Prepare cybersecurity risk reports and recommendations for senior management; stay current on threats, technologies, standards, and regulations.
