About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Store Manager at Gloria Jeans.
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall store appearance and standards.
This role requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
The successful candidate will serve as the face of the brand, fostering a positive environment for both customers and staff, and upholding the company’s values and standards at all times.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality sector.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing a team, and delivering excellent customer service is essential.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are required to succeed in this role.
A passion for coffee and the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
A relevant degree or certification in business management, hospitality, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all store activities.
- Train, develop, and evaluate staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer experience and promote products effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate with regional and corporate teams to align store activities with brand objectives and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure the store operates efficiently, including stock management, ordering, and loss prevention.
