Role overview
Lead a chocolate production facility, overseeing factory operations, production efficiency, quality standards, and operational targets.
Factory operations
- Oversee daily factory operations and end-to-end chocolate production.
- Plan production and ensure targets are achieved on time.
- Manage production teams, supervisors, and factory personnel.
- Monitor costs, minimize waste, and optimize resource use.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other departments.
- Implement continuous improvements to productivity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure production equipment and machinery are maintained.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 10 years of experience in chocolate, confectionery, or sweets production/manufacturing at the same managerial level is mandatory.
- Demonstrated factory-management experience in chocolate, confectionery, or sweets manufacturing is required.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate production, manufacturing operations, and food-safety standards is required.
- Leadership, team management, problem solving, production planning, cost control, quality management, and process-improvement skills are required.
- A degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
