Purpose of the role
Plan, control, and execute maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and terrains to meet operational priorities and quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Fluent English reading and writing; able to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation.
- At least 4 years of relevant facility, infrastructure, or civil maintenance engineering experience.
- Experience planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance and supervising contractors and service providers.
- Marine port, logistics hub, industrial facility, airport, or large-scale infrastructure experience is preferred.
Technical competencies
- AutoCAD at medium-to-advanced level is required for reviewing and updating engineering drawings.
- Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, at basic-to-intermediate level.
- Maintenance and repair of buildings, infrastructure, civil assets, container yard structures, and quay structures.
- Project management, risk management, rigging and wire-rope handling, spare-parts classification and disposal, and time-management techniques.
- HSE knowledge related to infrastructure, electrical systems, painting, outdoor facilities, heavy mobile equipment, and light vehicles.
Maintenance and process responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance and follow up on risk-management and performance-improvement projects.
- Supervise external contractors for scope, quality, and safety compliance; identify and report required spare parts, materials, and resources.
- Diagnose technical and process issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, equipment-history, and related records; comply with procedures, standards, and maintenance management systems.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow company safety rules, work instructions, and procedures; report duty hours accurately and support cross-department teamwork.
- Ensure job safety analyses, risk assessments, and work permits support maintenance activities where required.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment safe and clean, and promote safe working practices.
Performance measures
KPIs include 5S audit compliance, equipment performance, monthly reporting, preventive maintenance schedule compliance, project management performance, work-order audit quality, rework quality, and safety LTIR.
