Discovery Dunes is seeking an experienced and driven
Facilities Manager
to lead the delivery of world-class facilities management services across one of Dubai's most exclusive private communities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic facilities professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence, sustainability, asset performance, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.
About The Role
You will oversee all hard and soft facilities management services across the community, ensuring our infrastructure, amenities, and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Working closely with contractors, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, you will drive service performance, manage budgets, oversee asset lifecycle planning, and ensure full compliance with UAE regulations while continuously enhancing the resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of all hard and soft FM services across the community.
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Oversee preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance programmes.
- Drive asset management, lifecycle planning, and long-term capital improvement initiatives.
- Manage FM budgets, cost control, and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health & safety requirements, and environmental standards.
- Monitor community infrastructure, critical systems, and emergency preparedness.
- Build strong relationships with residents, developers, government authorities, and service providers.
- Support sustainability initiatives and continuous operational improvements.
- Prepare performance reports and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
What Skills & Qualifications Are Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- 7–10 years of Facilities Management experience, including 3–5 years within a UAE/GCC HOA or community management environment.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, CAFM platforms, contract management, and asset lifecycle planning.
- Experience managing FM budgets, contractors, and service level agreements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- NEBOSH or other professional FM certifications are highly desirable.
- A proactive leader with exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering operational excellence.
