Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project cost estimates and budgets.
• Monitor project expenses and track budget variances.
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts for project managers and stakeholders.
• Analyze cost data for trends, risks, and savings opportunities.
• Support cost control systems and procedures.
• Gather and validate cost information with project teams.
• Assist with change orders and contract modifications.
• Contribute to cost-saving strategies and value engineering.
• Participate in project reviews and provide cost insights.
• Maintain accurate cost control documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least five years of cost control or related experience; construction or engineering project experience preferred.
• Construction or architectural industry experience is a plus.
• Cost control, cost management, analytical, and project control skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimation, forecasting, and budget analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and familiarity with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Data analysis and reporting skills; understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and cost control methods.
• Detail orientation, organization, time management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry practices and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Compensation

• The posting gives a pay range of AED 4,500–18,000 per month; salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Workplace and schedule

• Full-time position based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.
• Work location is in person.
