F&B Manager - Airport Outlets

Role purpose

Operations and service

• Oversee daily outlet operations, service quality, and profitability.
• Assign operational functions to staff to support sales and smooth operations.
• Visit outlets regularly to check food and beverage quality.
• Investigate and promptly remedy customer complaints about food quality or service.

Menus and product quality

• Coordinate with Production on menus, food quality, and kitchen-related matters.
• Propose menus within budgets, recommend selling prices, rotate menus, and introduce products to promote sales.

Budgets, procurement, and people

• Prepare and submit annual CAPEX and staff budgets for approval.
• Coordinate procurement of outlet equipment and materials, and food or other stocked items.
• Ensure staffing of required positions and monitor performance and professional development.

Education and experience

• Graduate or diploma qualification in Catering, Hotel Management, or an equivalent field is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage Management is required.
• At least 5 years of prior experience with a completed degree, or 7 years with a diploma.

Skills and standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, task orientation, team leadership, and organization are required.
• A strong hotel and catering background is required.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene and safety standards, ISO 9001 quality systems, and departmental procedures.

Workplace

• The role operates from an office and regularly visits airport outlets at Dubai International Airport.
