F&B LOUNGE RECEPTIONIST

Reception and guest service

• Manage the front desk, receive calls, take reservations, handle lounge check-ins, and see guests off, including during peak hours.
• Welcome restaurant guests, address inquiries, and direct guests to the serving team.
• Communicate guest bookings, needs, complaints, and feedback to managers and colleagues.
• Monitor guest experience and satisfaction, encourage feedback, and remain present on the floor during peak hours.

Billing and lounge operations

• Generate invoices in LAS and Micros for walk-in, airline, travel-agent, card, and web bookings.
• Track guest check-out times and collect payment for extra hours when applicable.
• Announce flight departures through an automated system or manually.
• Promote and upsell lounge services and outlet offerings.

Service standards and outlet upkeep

• Keep clean, presentable menus available and respond to restaurant emails with manager or supervisor approval.
• Keep up to date on service standards and food-and-beverage knowledge, and train other associates.
• Maintain mise en place, supplies, and stock levels; report equipment problems promptly.
• Keep the workplace clean and orderly and monitor operating costs and supply adequacy.

Knowledge and skills

• Thorough knowledge of hotel business partners affiliated with the hotel.
• Thorough knowledge of airline lounge utilization procedures.
• Professional and courteous communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to generate invoices using LAS and Micros.

Work arrangement

• Guest-facing work is performed in the restaurant and lounge.
