Job Purpose

As the first point of contact at Samira Maatouk Group coffee outlets, the F&B Hostess plays a crucial role in shaping the guest experience.

This position is responsible for delivering a warm, premium welcome, managing guest seating efficiently, and setting a sophisticated, hospitable tone that reflects our heritage of coffee excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Guest Welcome & Relations:** Greet arriving guests with genuine warmth and professional courtesy. Guide them to their tables while assessing their preferences to ensure an exceptional first impression.
  • **Seating & Table Management:** Optimize seating capacity during peak hours by managing table rotations efficiently. Coordinate closely with the service team to ensure balanced station assignments.
  • **Menu & Brand Ambassadorship:** Provide guests with menus upon seating, introduce daily specials, and offer brief, enthusiastic insights into our premium coffee selections if prompted.
  • **Reservation Management:** Handle table bookings, telephone inquiries, and walk-ins professionally, maintaining an organized reservation log.
  • **Queue & Waitlist Coordination:** Manage guest waiting areas smoothly during busy periods, offering accurate wait-time estimates and ensuring waiting guests feel acknowledged and valued.
  • **Outlet Presentation:** Ensure the entrance, host stand, and reception areas are pristine, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • **Feedback Collection:** Bid guests a warm farewell, inquire briefly about their dining experience, and actively pass along constructive feedback to the Outlet Manager.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • **Experience:** Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or Front-of-House staff within a premium cafe, high-end restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment in the UAE.
  • **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent; a certification in Hospitality or Customer Service is a distinct advantage.
  • **Communication Skills:** Fluency in spoken English is mandatory. Strong conversational Arabic or additional languages are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
  • **Appearance & Attitude:** Impeccable personal grooming, a professional demeanor, and a naturally warm, energetic, and welcoming personality.
  • **Skills:** Strong interpersonal skills, basic point-of-sale (POS) or reservation system familiarity, and the ability to remain calm and graceful under pressure during high-volume shifts.
  • Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi)
