Experienced F&B Cost Controller responsible for monitoring costs, inventory, purchasing, wastage, and cost variances across F&B operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs.
- Conduct regular inventory and stock counts.
- Prepare and analyze food and beverage cost reports.
- Compare actual and theoretical food costs and investigate variances.
- Review purchase orders, receiving reports, invoices, and stock movements.
- Monitor wastage, spoilage, portion control, and stock discrepancies.
- Conduct recipe and menu costing.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Purchasing, Stores, and Operations teams.
- Monitor supplier price variations and their impact on food costs.
- Prepare monthly cost-control reports and recommend actions to management.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO procedures are followed.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant F&B Cost Control experience.
- Restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and food cost calculations.
- Experience with POS and inventory/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and good knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.
- UAE hospitality experience is preferred.
Pay
- AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
