The role supports dining service and the overall success of F&B operations.
Guest service and food delivery
- Greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and recommend menu items.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure accurate, timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Serve meals and drinks according to standards and presentation guidelines.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Dining operations and payments
- Set up tables, clear dishes, and keep the dining area clean and organized.
- Coordinate with kitchen and F&B colleagues to ensure smooth service.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers.
- Process payments and handle cash accurately; restock supplies as needed.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow hygiene, environmental, health, and safety guidelines and organizational procedures.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve F&B goals and guest satisfaction.
Work setting
- The dining service duties involve in-person work in a restaurant or food and beverage setting.
