F&B assistant position based in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate joiner requested.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present canapés, starters, finger foods, sandwiches, and catering menu items.
- Produce bakery and pastry products, including cakes, muffins, cookies, cupcakes, and decorative desserts.
- Decorate cakes, finish desserts, and present food to company standards.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal food and bakery offerings.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Support catering functions, birthday parties, and events with food preparation and setup.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and consistency; maintain HACCP-aligned food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Store, label, and rotate ingredients; monitor inventory and assist with supply ordering.
- Reduce food waste through planning and portion control; maintain clean equipment and work areas.
- Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff when required.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during busy periods and events; follow company policies, safety rules, and procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- Immediate joiner required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cammie chef, Bakery Chef, or similar.
- Experience in bakery production, cake decoration, canapés, starters, and catering preparation.
- Good knowledge of customer service, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; creative approach to food presentation and bakery decoration.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary certification is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500–2,800 per month.
Workplace
- Based in Abu Dhabi; work location is in person.
