Eyebrows Hair Transplant Practioner (Part time)

About This Role

Job descriptionKey Responsibilities:

• Preoperative Duties:
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient preparation, including explaining the procedure and answering basic questions.
• Perform scalp preparation and marking under the surgeon’s guidance.
• Surgical Assistance:
• Assist during the hair transplant procedure, including follicular unit extraction (FUE) or follicular unit transplantation (FUT).
• Extract, dissect, and sort hair grafts under a microscope with precision.
• Implant grafts into the scalp following the surgeon's instructions and design.
• Monitor graft viability and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
• Postoperative Duties:
• Provide postoperative care instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of the procedure, including graft count and placement.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Patient Care and Support:
• Ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any signs of distress or discomfort.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with other staff to anticipate needs during the procedure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Experience or training in FUE and FUT techniques.
• Proficiency in using surgical instruments and microscopes.
• Attention to Detail:
• High level of precision and accuracy in graft extraction and implantation.
• Interpersonal Skills:
• Ability to make patients feel at ease and explain procedures clearly.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Educational Background:
• Certification in a relevant medical or technical field (e.g., medical assistant, nursing).
• Specialized training in hair transplantation (DHA mandatory).
• Experience:
• Prior experience in a similar role or in a clinical/surgical setting is an advantage.
• Physical Stamina:
• Ability to stand for long periods and maintain focus during lengthy procedures.
