External Audit Supervisor

About This Role

Logotoks is seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven External Audit Supervisor to join our professional audit team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising external audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, reviewing financial statements, and leading audit teams to deliver high-quality assurance services.

This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional who demonstrates strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee external audit engagements from planning through completion
• Review audit workpapers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Lead risk assessments and develop effective audit strategies for clients
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, and firm audit methodologies
• Monitor audit progress, timelines, and budgets across multiple assignments
• Provide technical guidance and support to audit teams
• Evaluate internal controls and identify key risk areas
• Prepare and review audit reports, findings, and client deliverables
• Communicate audit issues and recommendations to clients and senior management
• Ensure high-quality execution of audit procedures and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5–7 years of external audit experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and auditing standards
• Experience reviewing complex financial statements and audit files
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to handle multiple engagements under tight deadlines
