Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the roads design team in developing innovative and efficient transportation solutions for Qiddiya
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design of roadways within the broader project framework
• Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications for roadways and related infrastructure
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and traffic analyses to inform design decisions
• Establish design criteria and standards for roadways to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that all design outputs are delivered on time and within budget
• Engage with external consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals and design integrity
• Prepare and present design proposals and reports to stakeholders and regulatory authorities
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in road design and transportation engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in road design and transportation engineering, preferably in large-scale projects
• Demonstrable experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams and projects
• Strong portfolio of successful road design projects showcasing innovation and technical expertise
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) and project management tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to varied audiences
• Thorough understanding of local and international road design standards and sustainability practices
