Summary

Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• include the following. Other duties may be assigned .
• - Cleans assigned section: Dusts and cleans glass, ceramic, vinyl, wood and metal surfaces and fixtures and slot machines as outlined in section assignments.
• - Empties trash receptacles and cleans inside of receptacles as needed.
• - Follows cycle cleaning procedures. Polices assigned area.
• - “Polices” the floor or other area assigned and pick up all trash.
• - Vacuum assigned sections.
• - Cleans entryways, and surrounding areas.
• - Responsible for equipment, so as to protect it from damage and store it to prevent its loss.
• - Watches for guest’s safety so that equipment is not left in an unsafe matter.
• - Washes windows using correct procedures.
• - Disposes of trash according to the environmental method of disposal or holding in specific containers for pick-up.
• - Posts safety signs required for the safety of guests and employees.
• - Reports all defective equipment to supervisor.
• - Is responsible for the safe storage of all cleaning utensils, containers and equipment in order to prevent damage or loss.
• - Details all stainless steel, brass, wood, glass, ceramic, vinyl and metal surfaces including slot machines as outlined in section assignments.
• - Cleans floor mats and washes walls as assigned.
• - Cleans restrooms and keeps paper products supplied.
• - Cleans vents, light fixtures and other ceiling mounted fixtures.
• - Sweeps assigned area, carefully cleaning around planter boxes and other fixtures, removing trash, cigarette butts, paper, etc.
• - Removes, replaces and stores all linen used by different departments.
• - Dusts and wipes down all signs, walls, stools, chairs, decorative objects, counter tops, televisions and office areas.

Other Qualifications

• Must be able to get along with co-workers and develop teamwork. Must be able to work at a fast pace.

Language Skills

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English strongly preferred.
