Events Intern (Part-Time)

Role purpose

Schedule and term

• Part-time, six-month internship of 10–12 hours per week.
• Work is mainly on weekends and evenings in line with the events calendar.
• Start date stated as 1 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of HIVE's event calendar.
• Take an active role in physical event setup, operation, and breakdown.
• Support suppliers, partners, talent, and collaborators on event days.
• Help manage timings, run sheets, guest lists, RSVPs, and logistics.
• Prepare event spaces and ensure readiness before doors open.
• Research talent, collectives, brands, suppliers, and potential collaborators.
• Help source and coordinate event materials, equipment, and production requirements.
• Provide reliable on-the-ground support throughout events and bring city ideas and references to the team.

Candidate profile

• Open to students or recent graduates seeking part-time work.
• Interested in Dubai's events, music, hospitality, design, and cultural scene.
• Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to follow tasks through.
• Hands-on, resourceful, calm under pressure, adaptable, and agile.
• Strong communication skills and comfort liaising with residents, guests, suppliers, talent, and external partners.
• Comfortable working in a small, evolving team and taking on varied responsibilities.
• Available to work evenings and weekends; enthusiastic about learning and developing in events and brand experience.
• No formal qualifications are required.

Workplace and work nature

• A significant part of the role is on-the-ground event support and involves substantial physical activity.

Eligibility

• Must hold valid existing UAE residency for the full six-month term; examples include family or student residency visas.
