Event Coordinator & Floral Design Specialist

Role purpose

Event management

• Plans events from concept to completion and prepares plans, schedules, budgets, and execution timelines.
• Coordinates clients, suppliers, decorators, venues, caterers, and service providers; ensures delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed standards.
• Supervises setup, execution, and dismantling; handles last-minute changes and operational issues.

Floral design and client coordination

• Creates arrangements, centerpieces, bouquets, arches, backdrops, installations, wearable flowers, and other floral displays.
• Develops concepts based on themes, colors, seasons, and client preferences; selects flowers, foliage, materials, and accessories.
• Meets clients, presents event and floral-design concepts, and prepares quotations and proposals with management/accounts.
• Communicates with clients throughout planning and ensures their expectations are understood by the execution team.

Team, supplier, budget, and quality duties

• Leads and briefs event and floral-design teams, allocates duties, coordinates vendors, and monitors supplier quality, delivery schedules, and costs.
• Ensures required materials and equipment are available before setup; prepares and monitors budgets and controls event-related costs.
• Minimizes material wastage, negotiates supplier prices, and records materials purchased and used for each event.
• Inspects floral arrangements and décor; follows handling, storage, transportation, workplace, and event-site safety requirements.
• Ensures setups meet company standards and client specifications and that venues are restored after events.

Qualifications and experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in event management, floral design, wedding décor, or event styling.
• Strong practical knowledge of flower arrangement, floral décor, flower varieties, seasonal availability, care, and preservation.
• Experience managing events from planning through execution; good knowledge of décor materials, styling techniques, and design concepts.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Event Management, Floral Design, Hospitality, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred.
• UAE/GCC event-management experience is advantageous.

Pay

• AED 6,000–12,000 per month.

• Work is in person in Abu Dhabi.
