Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Maintenance and Fit-out Works

Overview

• **Cost Estimation:** Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for maintenance and fit-out projects.
• **Bill of Quantities (BOQ):** Develop and maintain detailed Bills of Quantities based on project drawings and specifications.
• **Budgeting:** Manage project budgets, ensuring costs remain within the allocated limits, and provide financial forecasts.
• **Tendering & Procurement:** Assist in preparing tender documents, review supplier/subcontractor quotes, and ensure competitive pricing.
• **Cost Control:** Implement strategies for cost control and value engineering to optimize spending without sacrificing quality.
• **Progress Monitoring:** Conduct site visits to track project progress and ensure alignment with BOQ and budget.
• **Contract Administration:** Handle contract variations, payment applications, and manage financial negotiations with contractors and clients.
• **Client Liaison:** Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding cost-related updates and resolve any concerns.
• **Post-Project Review:** Analyze final costs versus estimates and generate reports for future project improvements.
