Estimation Engineer (Water Infrastructure)
About This Role
We are looking for Estimation Engineer for a well-established infrastructure contractor in Dubai.
Location - Dubai
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing detailed cost estimate for Infrastructure projects.
Review Tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify scope, risks and opportunities.
Prepare quantity take offs and pricing based on contract requirements .
Developing rate analysis and pricing strategies.
Coordinate with planning, engineering and procurement teams for inputs.
Prepare and Issue RFQ's to subcontractors and suppliers.
Evaluate quotations technically and commercially.
Prepare comparison sheets and support subcontractor selection.
Liase with vendors to obtain clarifications and updated prices.
Compiling complete tender submissions (technical and commercial)
Preparation of Tender queries, clarifications and addendum reviews.
Ensure compliance with tender conditions and submission requirements.
Maintain tender registers and records.
Post tender clarifications and negotiation.
Assistance to project team upon award.
Maintain cost data
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED17,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
Application Question(s):
- How many years of experience do you have in water and infrastructure project estimation?
- Do you have experience in potable water pipeline projects,sewerage and drainage network projects?
- Have you handled street lighting and utility infrastructure works?
- Have you independently prepared detailed cost estimates for infrastructure tenders?
- Are you experienced in reviewing tender drawings, BOQs, specifications, and addendums?
- What's your current and expected salary. Please note that the budget we have for this position is AED 20,000. We do not want to negotiate but there will be much better chances of selection if you flexible below AED 20,000
Experience:
- water and infrastructure project estimation?: 7 years (Required)
- sewerage and drainage network projects?: 6 years (Required)
- storm water networks and pumping stations?: 7 years (Required)
- cost estimates for infrastructure tenders?: 7 years (Required)
- tender drawings, BOQs, specifications, and addendums: 7 years (Required)
