Landscape
- Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for landscape and irrigation projects.
- This role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material, labor, and equipment costs while ensuring competitive and profitable bids.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for landscape and irrigation projects
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Perform quantity take-offs for softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and infrastructure elements
- Analyze project scope and identify risks, constraints, and cost-saving opportunities
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
- Prepare and submit tender proposals within deadlines
- Track and maintain records of estimates, bids, and project costs
- And carry out any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in estimation, preferably in landscaping projects
- Strong knowledge of landscape works including softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems
- Experience with quantity surveying and cost estimation techniques
- Proficiency in estimation and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel)
