Key Responsibilities
- **Prepare BOQs & Quotations:** Create detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and prepare accurate quotations for materials, labor, and project components based on project drawings and specifications.
- **Cost Estimation:** Measure and calculate the cost of materials, labor, and other resources required for Interior Fit-Out projects, ensuring competitive and realistic estimates.
- **Tender Submissions:** Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, including all relevant documentation, project scopes, and cost breakdowns, while liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
- **Take-offs & Measurements:** Perform accurate take-offs and measurements from project drawings, ensuring all elements are captured and accounted for in the estimates.
- **Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison:** Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing, quotes, and lead times, and ensure they are factored into project estimates.
- **Cost Control:** Assist in cost control throughout the project lifecycle by ensuring estimates align with the actual project requirements and identifying opportunities for cost-saving without compromising quality.
- **Documentation & Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of all estimation documents, quotations, and tender submissions, and assist with reporting on project costs and progress.
Requirements
- **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer within the Interior Fit-Out industry, with a proven track record in preparing BOQs, quotations, and cost estimates.
