The analyst will support Dunelm's sustainability, net-zero and other ESG targets through reporting outputs and insights.
The role sits in the Legal and Compliance function and supports stakeholders across the business.
Work arrangement
- The role is hybrid, with three days each week in the office or on-site.
What you'll do
- Produce and improve internal and external reporting for operational targets and regulatory obligations, including packaging taxes, energy, waste and greenhouse gas reporting.
- Support accurate greenhouse gas reporting across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, including data management and automation.
- Document reporting methods, processes and assumptions in clear, auditable outputs.
- Coordinate data collation and review for external ESG ratings and annual mandatory disclosures.
- Build cross-business relationships and provide insights and analysis to advance the ESG agenda.
Candidate qualities

Advantageous experience and skills
- Advanced Excel data analysis across multiple data types and the value chain is advantageous.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI or ThoughtSpot reporting and data tools is advantageous.
- Accounting principles, financial controls, reporting methods and process documentation are advantageous.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting, particularly UK SRS, TCFD and GHG Protocol, is advantageous.
- Large, complex business experience, especially in retail, and strong research and analytical communication are advantageous.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and develop actionable recommendations is advantageous.
