Role overview

Deliver assigned Cyber Security, Identity, Audit and Resilience projects with the Cyber Programme Manager and internal and external stakeholders.

Bring structure to delivery by clarifying scope, milestones, ownership, risks and decisions; cyber expertise should support informed questions and risk awareness.

The role is hybrid, with 1–2 days per week in the Leicester office.

Project delivery and governance

  • Lead projects from definition through delivery, adoption and handover into business as usual.
  • Create plans covering scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, decisions and delivery dates; maintain proportionate project controls.
  • Track delivery confidence, escalate material risks with options, and coordinate regulatory, audit and control commitments.
  • Prepare concise updates for leadership, risk, audit and programme forums; support sustainable operational ownership and controls.

Collaboration and partners

  • Coordinate Cyber, Platform Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Service Management, business teams and external partners.
  • Facilitate workshops, resolve blockers, agree accountable next steps and help teams balance competing demands.
  • Coordinate third-party delivery against scope, milestones, quality, security and service expectations.
  • Support statements of work, onboarding, delivery reviews and supplier governance with Commercial, Legal and senior stakeholders.

Continuous improvement

  • Improve delivery practices using feedback, retrospectives, data, automation and collaboration tools.
  • Reuse effective delivery patterns while adapting governance to project scale and risk.

Essential experience and skills

  • Experience delivering cross-functional technology, cyber security, risk, compliance or operational resilience projects.
  • Strong project planning, governance, RAID and dependency-management skills, including working with changing or incomplete information.
  • Experience coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Clear communication and confidence working with senior stakeholders, specialists and delivery teams.
  • Ability to translate risk, audit or control requirements into delivery plans and evidence-based status reporting.
  • Commercial awareness covering scope, resource, suppliers, timelines and delivery trade-offs.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and traditional project-delivery approaches.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with identity and access management, security operations, cyber resilience, audit remediation or governance projects.
