Position overview

Epic Analyst IV on UAB Medicine's Health System Information Services team, supporting Epic and other software critical to healthcare operations.

Epic certification is required or must be obtained within 12 weeks after completing required Epic training, with no more than two testing attempts.

Job responsibilities

  • Participate in analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of healthcare operations software, including Epic.
  • Maintain positive stakeholder relationships and optimize system performance.
  • Stay current with technological developments and adapt to new advances.
  • Provide ongoing system support through on-call duties, monitoring, and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Eight years of healthcare application support experience.
  • Epic certification in the supported area, or timely certification after required Epic training within the stated testing limit.
  • Previous Epic experience is ideal.

Pay

  • Pay range is $96,730 to $157,190 per year.
